Program Briefs
Program Briefs provide brief (no more than eight pages) descriptions of major BJA-funded programs. The audience includes federal, state, and local policymakers, individuals involved with the criminal justice system, the general public, and other targeted audiences.
Bulletins
Bulletins allow BJA to quickly disseminate information on emerging issues or promising programs to policymakers and practitioners. Bulletinsno more than 24 pages in lengthprovide a program description, including implementation, and program experiences, including examples from the field.
Monographs
Monographs are full-length reports that examine in detail a promising program or issue or a specific part of a promising program. BJA's audience includes individuals with authority and resources for criminal justice policymaking or managing criminal justice agencies.
Training Manuals
Training manuals provide a detailed curriculum for teaching the operation of a proven program before its implementation and generally include both instructions for trainers and exercises for students. Training manuals are intended for program managers and supervisors responsible for the operation of a program and the development of staff resources.
